XPD 88

The XPD 88 is a modern reinterpretation of explorer yachts, designed with simplicity and elegance for a very specific goal: to travel. Its strong personality was born from the idea of offering guests a boat that allows them to enjoy the sea and fully experience slow-cruising, enjoy every moment spent on board thanks to a layout that is envied by even bigger units.

XPD88 is a yacht designed by Studio Sculli, a famous studio of naval architects in La Spezia. The key characteristic of this boat is its structure that allows the classification as a 23.99-metre boat although the length overall is equal to 28,4 meters. The owner will have the space and comfort of a bigger boat but much lower management and registration costs as it is classified as a yacht below 24 meters.

Mauro Sculli is an architect and owner of Studio Sculli, with over 35 years of experience in the naval industry. Throughout his career, he has worked as a designer and project manager for several renowned shippyards, and he has been actively involved in technical exterior and interior design since 1985.
When one of Sculli’s clients expressed interest in building a pleasure boat with ocean-going capabilities, Antonini Navi was identified as the perfect shipyard partner to develop a new line of explorer vessels known as expedition (XPD). Sculli took on the project with his team, primarily working alongside Matteo Covini, a 30-year-old designer from Milan. Covini holds a degree in “Naval and nautical design” from the architecture department at the University of Genoa and a Ph.D. title through his three-year study on new disposal technologies in the nautical sector.

This pleasure craft classified as Ice Class, fundamental element for long journeys around the world with high-standard safety.
The highlight of the project is the owner’s deck: the owner’s suite has a surface area of over 35 square meters and a private terrace with distinct crew paths that offers maximum privacy to guests on board.
XPD88 has environments typically reserved for high-class explorer yachts, such as large aft workshop / garage, tender space, laundry and a cold room attached to the semi-industrial kitchen.

The project can be built in three different propulsion solutions. A hybrid propulsion is also proposed for a nature-friendly cruise that encourages environmental sustainability and at the same time provides long-term economic benefits.

XPD 120

Compared to her smaller sister, XDP 120 offers a VIP cabin and an extra crew cabin, for a total of 10 guests and 5 crew members. In addition, space has been given to new environments that can be used by guests, such as the exclusive lounge with a 180° view on the upper deck in direct communication with the pool deck overlooking the stern.
The owner’s cabin, on the other hand, located on the main deck forward, is enriched by a fitness/relaxation area with a folding terrace.
There is also the possibility of inserting an elevator that connects the Main Deck and the Sun Deck.
