The first company in Gruppo Antonini was set up by Walter Antonini in the second half of the 1940s, in the immediate post-war period. Over the next twenty years, the outstanding leadership and business skills of the family’s various members, combined with the traditional manufacturing expertise of Italy’s family-run industrial companies, were the drivers of rapid growth.
SHIPBUILDING
Gruppo Antonini is an experienced and well-known manufacturer of yachts. The firm’s objective is to create yachts that reflect the personality of the owners and their way of experiencing the sea. The company uses professional equipment to manufacture aluminium and iron vessels and ensures maritime safety applying extensive technological expertise.
MACHINERY & PIPING
Gruppo Antonini offers engineering-design, construction-assembly and maintenance services for offshore and onshore plants. The company is a well-known manufacturer of pipelines and metallic structures.
TRANSPORTATION
Gruppo Antonini has two barges to transport the manufactured goods to the Offshore installation sites, which allows the firm to guarantee the customer delivery by sea within the budgeted times and costs. Claudio 1 is the largest barge, and its maximum load capacity is 4.100 tons.
MARINE SERVICES & LOGISTICS
Gruppo Antonini has developed an efficient organization for the logistics management of boats and yachts at the international level. From the small pleasure boat to the largest yacht, we can help you ship them around the world. Also, we have a large shipyard where boats of any kind can berth easily and safely so that we can refit them.
REFITTING
The company has talented employees who work hard to refit considerable and good-looking yachts of any size. First objective is to respect requested timeframes but, at the same time, always maintain the highest standards of quality. We are able to update older yachts, bringing a more modern style, new technologies and systems.
SPECIAL REFITTING (AMERIGO VESPUCCI)
Gruppo Antonini has proudly refitted famous historic ships from all over the world. The celebrated school ship Vespucci is one of them; a beautiful tall ship belonging to the Italian Navy and built-in 1930. Renovation work was carried out on board to recondition the precious wooden masts of the ship which had worn-down over time.
